To manage and present multiple dealerships, service centres, brands, new cars, used cars, demo vehicles in a way which allowed both Heartland Motors themselves and their customers an easy experience was a difficult task. Through the use of a system of sub-domains and a complex content management system developed for the project, silvertrees was able to achieve a seamless and easy to use portal to allow access to all areas of Heartland Motors’ services.

 

Within the system enquiries are received, re-directed and managed through to successful resolution. New and used car details are automatically updated and made available hourly. Customers are able to search, save and print details of vehicles. Through the use of various brand templates the site visitor is also able to immerse himself in general information and details relating to new models, special offers as well as dealership specific promotions. The content management system allows all ‘sites’ to be managed from one place, but also provides access for every dealership to manage items specific to them and/or provide information to be presented across the whole group.
