One of the great Irish-Australian historians, professor Patrick O'Farrell, wrote literally hundreds of articles and over 30 books.
The prime function of the site was to provide background and information about his life and work, and also to present his material for ready access to a new generation of students.
This site presents many of Patrick O'Farrell's articles for download, and also provides details of others so they can be researched. An extensive (and searchable) bibliography is available on the site.
In keeping with the concept behind the site, there is also an extensive and sometimes quite personal collection of images spanning most of Professor O'Farrell's life. These show his progress from the mining town of Greymouth in New Zealand, to his receipt of the Australian medal in 2004.
